{"id":2529,"date":"2019-03-12T10:01:51","date_gmt":"2019-03-12T17:01:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/swlgpc.com\/eng\/?p=2529"},"modified":"2019-03-12T10:01:51","modified_gmt":"2019-03-12T17:01:51","slug":"uscis-resumes-premium-h1b","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.swlgpc.com\/eng\/uscis-resumes-premium-h1b\/","title":{"rendered":"USCIS Resumes Premium Processing for All H-1B Petitions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uscis.gov\/news\/alerts\/uscis-resumes-premium-processing-all-h-1b-petitions\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">announced<\/a> that it will be resuming Premium Processing on Tuesday, March 12, for all H-1B petitions.<\/p>\n<p>Back on September 11, 2018,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.uscis.gov\/news\/uscis-extends-and-expands-suspension-premium-processing-h-1b-petitions-reduce-delays\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">USCIS had announced<\/a>\u00a0that it was extending a previously announced temporary suspension of premium processing for H-1B cap petitions and expanding the suspension to include certain additional H-1B petitions. On January 28, 2019,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.uscis.gov\/node\/72129\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">USCIS announced<\/a>\u00a0that it would resume premium processing for FY 2019 cap-subject petitions. Just recently, <a href=\"https:\/\/swlgpc.com\/eng\/uscis-premium-processing-h1b\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">USCIS announced<\/a> that it was resuming premium processing for all H-1B petitions that were filed on or before December 21, 2018. This most recent announcement confirms USCIS will be resuming Premium Processing for all H-1B petitions.<\/p>\n<p>USCIS guarantees a 15-day processing time when an H-1B petitioner requests Premium Processing. If USCIS does not take certain adjudicative action within those 15 calendar days, USCIS refunds the petitioner&#8217;s Premium Processing service fee and continued with expedited processing of the petition.<\/p>\n<p><b>Special Instructions:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If you received a transfer notice for a pending H-1B petition and you are requesting premium processing service, you must submit the premium processing request to the service center\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.uscis.gov\/news\/alerts\/uscis-resumes-premium-processing-all-h-1b-petitions\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">that is now handling the operation<\/a>.
