The Department of State (DOS) has issued its September 2017 Visa Bulletin. \u00a0Most notably, there has been a significant advancement for the priority dates for EB-2 and EB-3. There continues to be no advancement for the priority dates for EB-1 for China and India following a significant retrogression during the June 2017 Visa Bulletin.<\/p>\n

USCIS ADJUSTMENT OF STATUS DATES<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

If USCIS determines that there are more immigrant visas available for a fiscal year than there are known applicants for such visas, the USCIS will state on\u00a0www.uscis.gov\/visabulletininfo<\/a>\u00a0that you may use the\u00a0Dates for Filing Visa Applications<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0chart in the Department of State September 2017 Visa Bulletin. Otherwise, USCIS will indicate on their web site that you must use the\u00a0Application Final Action Dates<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0chart to determine when you may file your adjustment of status application in the United States.\u00a0 Currently, as of this publication, the USCIS has not determined which chart to use for September 2017.\u00a0 The dates listed above are the Application Final Action Dates.<\/p>\n
