{"id":1812,"date":"2016-05-24T11:36:00","date_gmt":"2016-05-24T23:36:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/swlgpc.com\/en\/blog\/?p=433"},"modified":"2016-05-24T11:36:00","modified_gmt":"2016-05-24T23:36:00","slug":"major-retrogression-for-eb-2-india-and-china-and-eb-3-china-for-june-2016-visa-bulletin","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.swlgpc.com\/eng\/major-retrogression-for-eb-2-india-and-china-and-eb-3-china-for-june-2016-visa-bulletin\/","title":{"rendered":"Major Retrogression for EB-2, India and China, and EB-3 China for June 2016 Visa Bulletin"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Department of State has issued its June 2016 Visa Bulletin with major retrogressions in priority dates for India\u2019s and China\u2019s EB-2 (Advanced Degrees or Persons of Exceptional Ability) and EB-3 (Skilled Workers, Professionals, and Other Workers) nonimmigrant visa applicants.<\/p>\n<p>The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) will only accept cases for <u>EB-2\u2013India with a priority date of October 1, 2004<\/u>, a four-year retrogression.<\/p>\n<p>For <u>EB-2-China<\/u>, USCIS will only accept cases with a <u>priority date of January 1, 2010<\/u>, a 20-month retrogression.<\/p>\n<p>For <u>EB-3-India<\/u>, the USCIS will accept cases with a <u>priority date of September 22, 2004<\/u>, an advancement of 21 days.<\/p>\n<p>For <u>EB-3-China<\/u>, the priority date has moved to January 1, 2010, a retrogression of about 3 years and 7 months.<\/p>\n<p>Please note that the USCIS will only accept employment-based adjustment of status applications from foreign nationals with a priority date that is current for final action (not Dates for Filing).<\/p>\n<p>Please contact <strong>SW Law Group<\/strong> if you have any further questions regarding these developments.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Department of State has issued its June 2016 Visa Bulletin with major retrogressions in priority dates for India\u2019s and China\u2019s EB-2 (Advanced Degrees or Persons of Exceptional Ability) and EB-3 (Skilled Workers, Professionals, and Other Workers) nonimmigrant visa applicants.
